Conslab wins Awards

Conslab wins the Technology Award and the overall Concrete Award at the 2011 Concree Industries Conference

The New Zealand Concrete Society's supreme Concrete Awardfor 2011 has been won by Conslab for its floors in the K-Mart distribution warehouse at the Goodman business park in Wiri, South Auckland.

The judges noted that the two slabs, a 13,000m2 post tensioned floor internally with no opening joints and externally a 220mm thick steel fibre slab designed to carry stacked containers and very large loads from a straddle carrier, illustrated the exceptional level of concrete design and construction excellence that the Concrete Society Award demands.
