A 40 MPa, 4630m2, 160mm thick, post tensioned slab. The client wanted the slab to be constructed with absolutely no joints to avoid any chance of losing a critical aircraft part. This required a pour of 740m3 in Nelson. There was no access to the front of the hangar as this was working airside. Thus the floor was poured with access through an office to one side.

The slab was finished with Ashford Formula and Seal Guard.
